All tools manufactured for use with our stereotaxic alignment system include an auto-indexing tool adapter mounting block for maintaining exact common vertical centerline position tool-to-tool.
Model 1905 Stereotaxic Alignment Indicator
provides dimensional feedback required for leveling the head. The indicator probes are lowered onto the skull. The stereotaxic head holder is manipulated until the alignment indicator verifies head position is level.
Model 1910 Dial Test Indicator
is a necessary tool for calibrating the stereotaxic manipulator to the stereotaxic alignment instrument. This dial test indicator will provide dimensional feedback required to verify the manipulator alignment is perpendicular and square relative to the precision ground stereotaxic base plate.
Model 1911 Stereotaxic Drill
includes motor, variable voltage power supply, two piece collet (1/8"), collet wrench and drill bit .020" diameter. Optional collet sizes and drill bits are available.
Optional collet size 3/32" can be requested.
Model 1915 Centering Scope 40X magnification is used to assist with positioning the stereotaxic manipulator accurately over the centering height gauge located on the stereotaxic base. The manipulator position is moved until the cross hair of the scope is lined up and in focus with the centering height gauge, which represents the center of all axes of rotation of the stereotaxic head holder (zero point of reference). This zero point reference is used to zero out the stereotaxic manipulator readout display and for setting the tool height for remaining tools to be used in the surgical procedure.
